Lemons

So a few of my family members have decided to come together and start a little photography competition each month, just for fun and friendly competition.
This month's topic was fruit - now obviously I cannot post my entry as of yet - as each photo is to be submitted anonymously to be displayed on flickr, and then votes are to be cast for the winner, but once the winner is declared I will post my entry on here.
In the meantime I was trying out some shots of lemons as practice which I can share with you.....

 

A new addition......

On November 14th my big sister gave birth to a wonderful little bundle of joy named Lewis James Ernest Ashmore (6lb 6oz).

It's quite something to watch your sibling adapt into being a parent - but Em and Dave are doing extremely well and Lewis is growing more and more in character. I cant wait to spend more time with the little guy and watch him grow up, I have a feeling he going to be quite the checky chap - hopefully without Dave's sense of humour!!!

Brussels

I've spent the last few days wondering around Brussels - not for any particular reason, just that Claire was working out there and I though I would tag along - have a few days away from London and put some thought into new career possibilities.

To be honest I'm not too sure what I thought about the place.... it was odd..... not somewhere I would rush back to anyway.... well maybe for the beer actually!!
